The Wonderful World of Selling Books

Anybody who knows me, knows that I love books!  My husband and I are on our way to building a library.  However, with the upcoming task (that I am not looking forward to) of packing, I have started going through old textbooks that we don't want to keep and listing them on Amazon.com to sell!

This is too good not to share!

I have listed a total of 6 books on Amazon.com to sell.  Mind you, I'm pricing them to sell.  I don't want to take them with us and they're too good to just throw in the Goodwill pile.

I only listed old school books that I knew I wouldn't need in my career.

You can search your books on amazon, so you don't even have to take and upload a picture!

 I have sold 4 already!

I am pricing them just under the lowest price for used products. (Amazon tells you what the books are going for).  This way, it's the first book that pops up on the used list when someone searches for it.  Books that aren't going for more than $5.00, I am not bothering to sell.  I will donate those to Goodwill.  It's not worth it after the shipping costs.

Pay close attention to the already listed prices and how many used books are listed for that product already.  The less listed, the better the chances you'll have of selling your book!

This is how it looks, you set a price, Amazon gives you $3.99 for s/h, and then they take a commission.

I've made almost $40.00 so far! It's not a ton, but as a friend said, "It's coffee money!"

I know this doesn't come close to what we bought them for years ago, BUT it's better then giving them away for free!

I encourage you to try this!
Good luck!
