Holiday Hospice Run - 5K
This 5k holds a special placei n my heart - for a couple reasons. One; the proceeds of the race go toward supporting Allegiance Hospice. The second reason; this is the first 5k I ever did and I did it with my mom. (Insert 'Awe-ing' here) Ever since, we have done this race (almost) faithfully every year (with the exception of a couple spring break trips over the race date). It's a great beginner's race, for a good cause.
The Color Run - 5K
The happiest 5k on the planet! --At least this is what they tell us. I will attest that it most likely is...I've ran a few 5ks, this is by far my favorite! It has also become a new 'annual' 5k for my friends and I. Just do it!
